Super Privacy Policy

Your data stays on your Mac

Super runs on your own Mac. Your items, records and files are stored in a data folder on that Mac. We have no servers that store user content.

Google Calendar

Connecting Google Calendar is your choice, made in Settings. Super asks only for read-only access (calendar.readonly) and uses it to show your events on the Today page. The access token is stored in the Keychain on your Mac. If the Keychain is unavailable, it is stored in a file in the data folder that only you can read. Super does not send your calendar events to us.

You can disconnect in Settings, or revoke Super's access in your Google Account.

Super's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Usage data

The first time you open Super, it asks for your consent. We collect usage data only if you agree.

We collect anonymous usage events only: which page you opened, which feature you used, and error messages. We do not collect the content of your items. Usage data is collected through PostHog. You can withdraw your consent in Settings at any time.

Feedback

When you choose to send feedback, we receive the feedback text, any screenshot you choose to attach, the app version, the build type (development or beta), and the address of the page you were on.

Automatic updates

Super checks the release repository on GitHub for new versions. These requests go through GitHub.

No sale, no advertising

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Export and deletion

You can export all of your data at any time with Export in Settings. Uninstalling Super and deleting its data folder deletes all local data.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
